Hand engraved acrylic, glass cabochons and Japanese South Sea pearls comb. Designed and made to order in our Sydney studio.
The acrylic is hand engraved with long flower patterns and at the centre a glass cabochon is tension set. At top edge of the comb 4 Japanese South Sea pearls are pinned with sterling silver pins.
The glass cabochons are handmade in our Sydney studio and set in the acrylic using a specially developed system inspired by the stone setting technique "bezel setting". The pressure created by the acrylic holds the glass in place, without the use of glue or any other material.
The back of the comb is laser engraved with JOAO VAZ.
