I was trying to develop a more pragmatic approach towards the project's requirements along with the need to restore confidence in my imagination.

I craved for spontaneity and freedom during the design process and being able to allow this freedom to continue during manufacture. To achieve this I organised a group of elements based in Portuguese jewellery: the heart-shape, chains and the visible use of safety pins, which were put together at the end. The final shape and composition of the pieces was only decided while assembling the work.
